Installation & Setup
We currently offer both iOS and Android versions. You can download the app for free directly from the App Store or Google Play.
Give & Take is built on an "Offline-First & Account-Free" philosophy. After opening the app, you don't need to fill out any tedious registration forms. Your data is strictly and safely stored locally on your device, meaning you can start tracking immediately.
Core Interaction: The AI Smart Capsule
At the bottom right of the Home screen, you will see a purple floating button with a sparkle icon. This is your ultimate assistant in Give & Take.
Tap this button to bring up the Smart Capsule input bar. We highly recommend that you:
💡 Try using your system keyboard's [Microphone / Dictation] feature to speak naturally.
Don't worry about dictation errors, as the text will be displayed in the input box for you to review and edit before sending it. Furthermore, ✨ typos are completely fine! The AI has powerful semantic understanding and will easily grasp your true intent.

Through this compact capsule input, you can use natural language to complete three core tasks:
1. 📝 Fast Transaction Tracking
Say goodbye to complex forms and manual data entry. Just describe what happened like you're texting a friend.
- You say: "I paid $50 for lunch with David" or "Sarah bought $300 of inventory on credit."
- AI processes: The system automatically extracts the contact ("David" or "Sarah"), logs the amount ("50.00" or "300.00"), and accurately determines the cash flow direction (e.g., creating an IOU or a customer tab).
2. 🧑🤝🧑 Fast Contact Creation
Met a new friend or business partner? No need to navigate through menus to create a profile.
- You say: "Add Mike, phone 555-0123, he is a plumber."
- AI processes: The system instantly creates a new contact named "Mike", saves his phone number, and automatically assigns the tag "plumber".
3. 🔍 Smart Find & Filter
As your contacts and ledgers grow, the AI becomes your fastest search tool. It supports fuzzy matching and intent parsing:
- Find Debts: "Who owes me money?" (Instantly filters your list to show only contacts with a pending balance owed to you).
- Fuzzy Name Search: "Find Mr. Smith."
- Find by Digits: "Find the person with phone number ending in 0987."
- Combined Search: You can even combine conditions to pinpoint exactly the ledger you need.
