Please read and fully understand this agreement before using our application. By downloading, installing, registering an account, or using this app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

1. Services Provided

"Give & Take" is an interpersonal relationship-based bookkeeping tool that provides ledger services for social favors, small businesses, and IOUs (debts). The app offers efficient "AI Smart Bookkeeping" and secure "Cloud Multi-Copy Backup" features. Certain advanced features require a Pro membership subscription.

2. Core Data Security & Disclaimer (Extremely Important)

2.1 Password Loss Exemption: The app's cloud backup utilizes End-to-End Encryption (AES-256-GCM). Your backup password is the only way to decrypt your data. We do not collect, store, or have the ability to reset your backup password. We hold no responsibility for any inability to recover backups caused by you forgetting your password.

2.2 Local Data Safeguarding: The app defaults to local storage. We are not responsible for data loss caused by your active uninstallation of the app, device loss, or damage if you have not enabled cloud backups.

2.3 AI Accuracy Verification: The AI features of this app are based on Large Language Model technology, which may have comprehension biases or "hallucinations." Before saving any ledger entry extracted by AI, you must verify that the amount, subject, and ledger type are correct. We are not responsible for any financial record errors resulting from your failure to fulfill this verification obligation.

3. Paid Subscription Services

Subscription Periods: Pro membership services offer different subscription periods (e.g., monthly, annually). Specific pricing is subject to the in-app display.
Auto-Renewal: Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, the subscription will automatically renew at the current period and price. The fee will be directly deducted from your app store account (Apple ID / Google Play, etc.).
Management and Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time in the subscription settings of your system account.
Refund Policy: Virtual digital goods generally do not support refunds. For special cases involving payments and refunds, please follow and contact the customer service rules of the respective app store.

4. User Code of Conduct

This app is intended solely as a tool for recording financial and interpersonal transactions. You may not use this app to engage in illegal financial activities such as money laundering, illegal fundraising, or usury, nor may you use the AI features to generate illegal or violating content. Upon discovery, we reserve the right to cooperate with relevant regulatory authorities and suspend your cloud service access.

5. Intellectual Property

The full ownership and intellectual property rights of this application (including but not limited to its code architecture, UI design, Logo, interaction logic, and text) belong to the Give & Take Development Team. Without explicit authorization, no third party may reverse engineer, crack, plagiarize, or commercially misappropriate this app.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The interpretation and dispute resolution of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
